Button and clip, brass, 14th Regiment of Foot, British Army, P Tait & Co, Limerick, Ireland, found at Victoria Barracks, Sydney, Australia, 1867-1870. Button (/1), with convex back and recessed loop for attachment, inscribed on the obverse with insignia of regiment, a prowling puma and number of regiment between inscription "India/ Waterloo", on the reverse, the manufacturer's name within a decorative leaf pattern. Metal clip (/2), attached to loop on reverse of button. Ex L. Barton collection.
