Notes

The instructions read " You will please clamp the "Earoscope" tightly to a table, shelf, or any other wooden place (avoid anything with a marble top). Hold the ear-piece closely to the ear (do not force the ear-piece far in the ear, as we do not want to opening of the ear to be plugged entirely) with one hand and turn the handle with the other hand slowly for 1 minute (at the rate of about 25 revolutions to the minute). Treat one ear immediately after the other, repeating again once more the same operation for 1 minute in each ear, which you will apply in the morning and treat yourself again at night in a similar manner. After one months treatment increase each application to 2 minutes (instead of 1 minute) for the following month, after which time you may add another minute to each application, making then the full 3 minutes for each treatment. After the first 7 days treatment you may start to turn the handle a little faster, and gradually keep turning the handle faster, until you will get a fairly rapid speed between 45 and 50 revolutions to the minute. Do not put any medicine in the instrument, nor should the instrument be taken apart.
