Physical Description

The collection consists of three chairs and a stool. The furniture is formed from aluminium beer cans. The base of the can is cut away to shape the seat tops, the legs and arms of the furniture are made from bent and scrolled beer can strips. The metal has been painted gold. The seats are padded and white with blue spotted fabric.

Notes

The furniture was made by an elderly man (now deceased) for therapy at the Rockdale Community mobile nursing unit and presented to the Museum's community services staff member when she gave a lecture on the Powerhouse.
