Coffee table, wood / glass, John Smith, Tasmania, Australia, 1984. Table made of wood and glass, consisting of a tabletop and base. The arch shaped, thick transparent glass tabletop rests on a wooden base. The base is composed of various geometric shaped hollow wood pieces, in bright gloss paint colours. The central support is two triangular shaped horizontal pieces which rest on 'legs' in square, triangular, semi-circular and quadrant shaped pieces. The legs are joined with elognated pieces of various shapes.
