This is a Chinese New Year picture (nianhua). The New Year pictures were popular household decoration in China until the mid 20th century. Employing various elements of folk art and symbolism, these pictures expressed wishes for happiness, prosperity and good luck. The fish symbolises wealth and the peach is a symbol of longevity. Chubby babies are also popular.

Physical Description
Poster in landscape orientation, printed in colour. The image on the poster depicts a group of six chubby babies playing with a giant peach on a red background. On the left hand side two babies are pushing the giant peach. On the right four babies are pulling the peach. All the babies are smiling and happy. Top left hand corner there are Chinese characters in yellow ink.
