HISTORY
Notes
John Williams operated in Hobart from the 1840s and died in 1865. He advertised as a piano manufacturer and at the Collins street address from about 1847 to 1852. There are four known surviving pianos by this maker, all of a similar style. The instrument was purchased by the museum from a descendant of the Bramich family of Deloraine, Tasmania, the original owners of the piano.
