Thesis (2 volumes), Kirsty Grant, 'Geoffrey Collings - Documentary Photographer in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria', Dahl and Geoffrey Collings, Killcare Heights, New South Wales, Australia, 1991 Thesis submitted by Kirsty Grant for her Postgraduate Diploma in Art Curatorial Studies from the Department of Fine Arts at The University of Melbourne, Melbourne, Victoria. For her study Grant looked at a collection of photographs taken by Geoffrey Collings between 1934 and 1945 and later deposited with the National Gallery of Victoria. The thesis is in two volumes: volume one contains the introductory essay - 'Geoffrey Collings - Documentary Photograph' - the catalogue entries and the afterword; volume two contains the endnotes, bibliography, an appendix listing Collings' films viewed by the student, and the illustrations.
