Page 10 of 'Supplement to 1904 Catalogue'. The page is headed 'Dado Panelling of Embossed Steel' and contains halftone photographs with design numbers and dimensions for two designs. The first incorporated panel no. 929 and dado rail no. 551, and the second incorporated panel no. 686 and dado rail no. 372. All products designed and made by The Wunderlich Patent Ceiling and Roofing Company Limited.

Sydney based company formed in 1885 and taken over in 1969 by CSR.

Wunderlich Limited

The inner city suburb of Redfern is named after William Redfern, a pioneering doctor who came to Australia as a convict in 1801.  He was granted 100 acres in the area of the present suburb of Redfern and built a large home surrounded by gardens.  Sydney's original railway terminus was built in the Cleveland Paddocks and was named after William Redfern.  It was built of iron and in 1874 was replaced by a brick and stone structure, covering two platforms.  The station was the focal point for the Sydney tramway network and was located midway between the present Central and Redfern Stations.  At that time the present Redfern station was known as Eveleigh.  Central Railway Station was opened in 1906 and, as its name suggests, it became the central railway for Sydney city.  The original Redfern Station was closed and the name of Eveleigh Station was changed to Redfern Station.
