Photographic prints, colour, contact prints, and colour negatives, Nike 1990-1999, photographs by Bruno Benini, some styling and props by Hazel Benini, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 1990-1999 Folder of NIKE colour prints and negs of groups of 8 models on location- tennis, baseball, surfing, bike riding, basketball and other sports, 1990 Niki with Olympic cut outs outside state parliament, with larger colour photographic print. One envelope marked ' 1999/ NIKI [sic] WITH OLYMPIC CUT OUTS / OUTSIDE STATE PARLIAMENT.' Some photographs from 1990 shot against walls with grafitti. (Estim - 22 prints 12 x 10 and 10 x 8, 13 pkts negs) Includes: Colour print, eight male and female models in 'Force' sports outfits against brick wall with grafitti. H. 209 x W.296 mm. Colour transparency, medium format, eight male and female models in 'Force' sports outfits against brick wall with grafitti, 'Elle sucks / juicy Joyce / Kylie', 'no standing any time' road sign to the left of standing models. HISTORY
Notes
History: From 1992 onwards Bruno was photographing some of the best male bodies from Giant Model Agency for their portfolios. It was quite a challenge as he worked out a different lighting style, which he would never use on female models. He used strong bounce lighting which hit a white side panel and reflected back ontothe body, picking up the muscles and character of the male.
