Fiorucci is an Italian fashion label. It was founded by Elio Fiorucci in Milan, Italy in the 1960s to introduce the styles of Swinging London and classic American denim and t-shirts, together with imported 'ethnic' accessories, to fashion conscious Italians.

This object is part of the Bruno Benini photography archive which was acquired by the Powerhouse Museum with the assistance of the Australian Government's National Cultural Heritage Account in 2009. This particular print was created by Benini for the 'Bruno Benini: fashion images 1956-1976' exhibition held at RMIT Gallery, Melbourne, Friday 12 February - Saturday 13 March 1999. Bruno Benini was born in Massa Marittima, Italy in 1925, arrived in Australia in 1935, and died in Melbourne in 2001 Hazel Benini nee Craig was born in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1930, arrived in Melbourne in 1958, and died in Melbourne in 2021
