HISTORY
Notes
Bruno's images capture the cosmopolitan lifestyle of inner-city Melbourne. The glamour of the fashion is accentuated by his locations, which included many of Melbourne's city streets and nightclubs. He also did several fashion shoots at the National Gallery of Victoria. Many of Bruno's photographs capture a powerful interplay between fashion and architecture. Bruno was inspired by the scale and crafted detail of architecture. The hard edges and retreating perspectives provided a dramatic background for the softer shapes and forms of fashion.
