6 scrapbooks owned by Bruno and Hazel Benini

Object No. 2009/43/1-6

These large leather bound scrapbooks proudly document Hazel and Bruno Benini's many and varied assignments across three decades from the 1960s through to the early 1980s. The newspaper cuttings contained in the scrapbooks document the many photographs which the Benini's sent to press outlets around Australia about Australian and international fashion available in retail outlets throughout the nation from Tasmania to Queensland and Western Australia. The cuttings and tearsheets were collated by a press clipping service which Hazel and Bruno Benini hired from the Australian Press Cuttings Agency of Melbourne which had been around since 1904.
