HISTORY

Notes

A 'Prevue Fashions, Chatswood' advertisement showing model in slim crepe Van Roth evening gown with jewel encrusted neckline appears in Flair, May 1967, p.61. 'I painted this backdrop with swans and willows for a Sportsgirl window. Bruno said, 'Don't throw it out. I could use it at the studio'. So when he had to do this evening dress, it was absolutley perfect, as there was not much you could do with a model and a straight dress'. Hazel Benini, interview, 2008.
