Grilles (8), Queen Victoria Building, cast copper, Wunderlich Limited, Australia, 1935
Eight rectangular cast metal grilles. Border is flat punched with holes on each corner. Body of grille is inverted and has abstract floral and geometric design, cut out and moulded. Screws included.

The Queen Victoria Building was built between 1893 and 1898 to the design of City Architect George McRae.  The building is an example of Late Victorian American Romanesque architecture and with its dome is closely related stylistically to the Town Hall.  The building occupies and entire city block and is built predominantly of sandstone with ground floor columns of Bowral trachyte.  The Queen Victoria Building is listed on the Register of the National Estate.
