Catalogue which provides detailed information about Wunderlich's metal ceiling range and associated products including design numbers and dimensions. There are also design drawings and halftone photographs showing decorative elements as well as perspective and section drawings, and plans showing how these products could be employed in various combinations for decorative effect. The catalogue was printed for Wunderlich by the Sydney printer, George Murray & Co Ltd.

Wunderlich Limited

The inner city suburb of Redfern is named after William Redfern, a pioneering doctor who came to Australia as a convict in 1801.  He was granted 100 acres in the area of the present suburb of Redfern and built a large home surrounded by gardens.  Sydney's original railway terminus was built in the Cleveland Paddocks and was named after William Redfern.  It was built of iron and in 1874 was replaced by a brick and stone structure, covering two platforms.  The station was the focal point for the Sydney tramway network and was located midway between the present Central and Redfern Stations.  At that time the present Redfern station was known as Eveleigh.  Central Railway Station was opened in 1906 and, as its name suggests, it became the central railway for Sydney city.  The original Redfern Station was closed and the name of Eveleigh Station was changed to Redfern Station.
