Glass negative, quarter plate, Eric Sheldon in his office, Tom Lennon, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 12 November 1932 Eric J. Sheldon was a drummer, dance band leader and editor of the monthly industry magazine, "The Australian Music Maker and Dance Band News", 1932-36. In this photo he is standing behind a desk on which is a telephone, ink well, pen holder, calendar and a book labelled "DANCE BAND NEWS". Tom Lennon was the official photographer for the magazine. The offices of the "The Australian Music Maker and Dance Band News" were located on the Fourth floor, State Theatre Building, Market Street, Sydney, New South Wales.
