Photographic print, black and white, billboard at Circular Quay Wharf promoting trade between Australia and Canada designed by Rousel Studios, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, c 1930 Three panel billboard designed by Rousel Studios placed above the entrance to one of the ferry wharves at Circular Quay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The centre panel is raised above the other two and has a Union Jack as the base of the illustration with a map of Australia in the bottom left hand corner with the word "AUSTRALIA" running diagonally within the map of Australia. The right hand side shows the outline of the west coast of North America from British Columbia to south of Baja California. The word "CANADA" is written on that part of the illustration that shows the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Two cargo ships are shown on the area that represents the Pacific Ocean with one heading from the east coast of Australia to the British Columbia and the other one heading from British Columbia to the east coast of Australia. The left hand panel has the words, "TRADE WITHIN/The EMPIRE". The right hand panel has the words, "RECIPROCATE/with CANADA". This is a similar billboard to those featured in 2002/105/1-2/45 and 2002/105/1-2/46 but at a different location at Circular Quay wharf.
