The teacups rise from a low, circular base into a shallow rounded body with a c-shaped handle. The cup interiors are coloured individually while the handles, lips and foot rings are decorated with gold paint. The saucers have four irregular edges that rise slightly into rounded corners. A cup support is moulded in one corner, while a quadrilateral design is painted in the opposite corner in one of six colours. Gold paint surrounds the saucer rim and the quadrilateral design.
