Summary

Physical Description

Circular medal with suspension loop. The obverse of the medal depicts a knight with a sword in front of an outline of Australia with the date 1945 at the bottom. On the reverse is a map type depiction of the southern hemishere, with Australia, Antartica, New Zealand, South America and Southern Africa. At the top are the words 'VICTORY MEDAL' and at the bottom are the manufacturer's markings.
