Cake stand, wire, maker unknown, Australia, 1900-1930 A wire cake stand consisting of a coiled wire platform that has been lashed to a frame consisting of two crossed rods on four feet. The feet have been formed by bending the wire on each end of each rod. Articulated loops of wire have been attached around the outside of the coiled wire platform.
