Summary
Physical Description
Mustard coloured silk brocade dress with a delicate all over sprig pattern. Long dress fitting loosely at the waist with smocking at the top front and back and centre back and front waist. Centre front opening fastened from neck to knee with 17 mustard coloured fabric buttons [Note: the dress has been sewn together and the buttons removed]. High neck, long sleeves with slashed inserts. Small pleated frill around the hem. Pocket in right hand side seam. Hook and eye fastening an the neck. Fully lined with blue and grey striped cotton. Waist tape inside waist fastened with hook and eye.
