Summary
Physical Description
Skull shaped, closed steel helmet. A central fin (comb) runs across the top of the helmet from front to back. Across the front are eye slits and below this is a hinged visor. A chin guard and laminated gorget plates are arranged around the neck. A leather strap runs under chin. The helmet has been decorated with inscised diagonal lines along tip of fin and with brass flower shaped studs around base of neck at back.
