Physical Description

Tea-cosy, macrame / velvet / twine, maker unknown, Australia, c 1930 Natural coloured twine macrame tea cosy edged along sides with rope-work with 3 loops at the top to form a handle. The body is composed of diamond-patterned macrame to which has appliqued tiger lily and fern fronds in macrame. Interior lined with green quilting over a cotton padding.
