Collage, mixed media, 'A Walk Through Hyde Park', Jeannie Baker, Australia, 1980-1981. A large rectangular collage of mixed media including fabric, hair, wool, woven raffia, feathers, das, clay, cement, resin, paint and vegetation (chemically treated to preserve and coloured with oil paint). It realistically depicts the characters and atmosphere of sydneys Hyde park. Composed of 7 pieces divided between two rectangular panels, adhered to white painted wooden mount. (-1) Panel, the scene depicted includes fountain and statue. (-2) Panel, the scene depicted includes palm tree and post with sign inscribed "Hyde Park". (-x/1) Wooden travelling crate with detachable lid, painted orange (-x/2) Inner travelling frame, wood (-x/3) Split batten, wood, for mounting object on wall

Has lived in Australia since the 1980s Exhibited at the Crafts Council of Australia Gallery, 113 George St, Sydney, 20th June - 3rd August, 1980. Catalogue No. 1.
