Earthenware bread platter, small size, moulded relief fern pattern and "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread". Lithgow majolica ochre and green glaze. Lithgow Pottery, NSW. c. 1889-1895.(OF).

Pottery in Lithgow established by the Lithgow Valley Colliery in 1879, as a way to use mine by-products. Employed master potter James Silcock. It closed in 1896.
Re started by Arthur Brownfield in 1905-1907
The brick pipe & tile works continued in production until 1945
