German walking doll. c. 1920.(LC)...Bisque porcelain swivel head on a ball joint composition body. Blue glass sleeping eyes, light brown synthetic wig tied at the back with a ribbon. Open mouth with four upper teeth. Dressed in a blue georgette gown with machine made lace yoke, and piped neck. Moire taffeta underskirt. (Dress is not original)...Made in Thur, Germany. c. 1920 H. 73cm. Intact.(SB).

In 1920 they were bought by Kammer & Reinhardt Doll Co, who continued to produce dolls until 1932.
