Summary
Physical Description
A pair of cloisonne vases with small circular openings at the top expanding into a bulbous shaped body that tapers towards the circular foot at the base of each vase. There is a cloisonne scene on either side of each vase. The scene on one side of the vase features sprays of flowers growing from the ground within a circular border. The other side depicts a scene featuring flowers and part of a maple tree within a circular border. Next to this within a leaf shaped border is an image of a blossoming tree branch with flowers below. Decorating the background of each vase are engraved iridescent blue floral motifs.
