Vase, earthenware, Marguerite Mahood, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 1935. Globular earthenware vase of cream fabric with filigree design. Formed in two sections, the outer pierced to form a skein of swirling arabesques, the inner being a slightly flaring cylindrical shape. Dipped a translucent yellow tinted glaze, forming pools of vivid yellow.
