Summary

Physical Description

A section of a confirmation veil with the image of a lamb, embroidered net and appliqué, probably made of cotton. Rectangular in shape veil section consists of a floral border at each end with small flower motifs with larger leaf shapes above. In centre of veil section is a large motifs consisting of a lamb on an altar being sacrificed by a sword with a flag attached. this image is set inside a sun shape. Lace is made using a net ground with flower design at each end made using embroidery. Leaf shapes and centre motif is made using appliqué and embroidery. Veil section is probably made of cotton.
