Birth control calculator, 'Rythmeter' in kit complete with instruction booklet, paper/cardboard, invented by [Major] Gilmore Lee Tilbrook, Rythmeter Company, USA, 1945. The 'Rythmeter' kit includes a (-1)cardboard gauge rather like a circular slide rule, in a (-2)buff coloured paper sleeve, and an (-3)instruction booklet with a dark blue cover. Both pieces come in a (-4)buff and orange cardboard envelope, with product information and testimonials from medical and religious authorities. The calculator and instruction book are to assist in calculating a woman's fertile period for use in family planning by the rhythm method.
