From 1843 until 1911 Neiliansheng made shoes for the Qing court, court officials and other well-to-do men and women. Since the 1950s they have made shoes for the most of China's leaders and for women with bound feet. Wang Wenlin made shoes for Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping.
