Electric light fitting prototype, 'Bernini lights up', Tyvek/metal/polypropylene, designed and made by Ruth McDermott and Rina Bernabei, Ovo Design, Sydney, 1996. (-1)Light fitting (prototype) made up of steel rods and plastic hoops which form a conical (internal) frame onto which white Tyvek (HDPE or high density polyethylene with 25% recycled content) fabric is secured in strips. A separate fabric flounce and ruched fabric 'flowers' are attached to the bottom of the frame. (-2)Piece of production pattern, heavy trace paper.
