Photograph from negative 5703 appears on pages 72-73 of the book with the caption "The Warringah Expressway, opened in June 1968, has given fresh life to the Harbour Bridge as an outlet for busy peak-hour traffic. The bridge is a toll bridge, and the famous landmark is gradually becoming inadequate to connect the city proper with the growing development on the northern shore."
