Physical Description

Plaster slip-cast mould, for Vase No V-16, plaster, a 5 piece stage 2-3 block/case mould for slip casting in earthenware; the two rectangular back and front sections -1:2 with decorative internal surfaces to produce one side only of a vase (the vase with wide base rising to narrow stem, flaring strongly from waist to rim, decorated with leaves and scrolls at stem, rim and sides), the two main sections flanked and held in place by four border pieces to produce a rectangular block when assembled.
