Physical Description

Vase, earthenware, slip-cast, with an oval foot supporting a squashed shield-shaped vessel with an elongated mouth and an undulating rim, the vessel decorated with wavy leaves [seaweed] in low relief rising to the rim from waves at the foot, lustre glazed with pink lustre below the rim, pale green lustre on the body and sky blue lustre at the foot, gold rim.
