Physical Description
Speaker with transformer, for projector, Bell & Howell-Gaument, Model 601, England, 1945-1948. Speaker for projector, in hinged wooden carry case, covered in green/grey vinyl with metal corners on the base and leather carry strap on top, inset panel of red/orange fabric square at front and a vented circle at the back. The transformer is housed an black metal box, with vents at each end, a Bakelite power point on one side and a black power cord on the other.
HISTORY
Notes
Ex-museum stock, used in Harris Street building from 1948-1976 for showing a wide range of films to the public.
