Lounge, 'Wicker Lounge', wickered rattan / steel, designed by Marc Newson, Sydney, Australia, 1990, made by Hawaii-Thai Co Ltd, Bangkok, Thailand, 1991 Lounge of woven wickered rattan surface over a steel subframe. The lounge has an 'organic hourglass' shape, with a recessed central area dipping towards the centre from the front and back and at both ends. One end of the lounge curves upwards, off the floor. The lounge is backless and armless.
