Physical Description
Rectangular radio receiver with timber casing with curved edges. Front has small square speaker housing on left with mottled mesh and four horizontal grill blades. Upper right has rectangular dial with radio station call signs of Australian state and short wave. Beneath are four control knobs, labelled with cream lettering on clear plastic label. Left knob labelled 'TONE MONITOR', right knob labelled 'VOLUME'. Two central knobs, one above the other, have labelling 'SHORT WAVE BROADCAST' and 'WAVE EXCHANGE'. Logo transfer on top 'His Master's Voice / [image of a dog and gramophone] / The Gramophone Company Ltd., Sydney, N.S.W.'. Back has power switch and a power cord.
