Photographic print, black & white, advertising billboard advertising Holeproof Hosiery, designed by Rousel Studios, Sydney Commercial Studios, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1920s Roadside wall advertising sign designed by Rousel Studios for Holeproof Hosiery which features a woman wearing a sleeveless dress, dark high-heeled shoes, and stockings lounging on her stomach with her elbows resting on a large cushion and her legs tucked up in the air to show off her stockings. The text reads, "Holeproof Hosiery/Sold in 91 countries of the world Colours by Lucile of Paris". On the top right of the sign is a street sign 'Pitt St', indicating the sign was located in Pitt Street, Sydney. Another copy of this print appears in photograph album 2002/105/1-1.
