The catalogue consists of a single page folded into three. On the outer facing side of the catalogue, the design features three circle graphics (one on each fold) with radiating spikes. Two of the circles feature spikes of text - 'Contemporary Art Society' separated by black dots; the alternate, spikes of black spotted stripes and a central black dot. On the interior side of the catalogue is a printed list of exhibitors.

Alistair Ardoch Morrison, born 21.9.1911, died 15.3.1998.  Painter, graphic designer, commercial artist.  Alias Professor Afferbeck Lauder, author of Let Stalk Strine, Nose Tone Unturned, Fraffly Well Spoken and Fraffly Suite.

Note that this name should not be confused with the differently-spelled "Morrison, Alastair" (Hedda Morrison's husband).

Publishing house in Sydney, New South Wales operated by Roderick Malcolm Shaw and Dick Edwards from 1945 to 1983. Edwards and Shaw was a quality printing and publishing partnership established by Richard Edwards and Roderick Malcolm Shaw, following the lapse of their Barn on the Hill Press. They printed a number of award-winning literary and fine art books for other publishers, including South Head Press and Pinchgut Press, and printed books of verse in the Lyrebird Writers series. The Press published many first books of verse by Australian poets.
